  1. Greetings from the Embassy of Mexico in India.

The 1968 Summer Olympic Games which were held in Mexico in October 1968 and within the Cultural Program of the Olympic Games, the World Festival of Children's Painting was organized with the theme, “Un Mundo de Amistad” – A World of Friendship. Children from all over the world participated with drawings and murals that are currently preserved in the Pedro Ramírez Vázquez Archive in Mexico City.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this cultural initiative, the Government of Mexico is seeking contact with the children, now adults, who participated in this children’s painting festival in 1968, to interview them and acknowledge their contribution to the Cultural Program of the Olympic Games Mexico 1968.

In our quest for the search for these participants, their identification and possible meeting, we request your esteemed educational institution to assist in contacting JITENDRA NAVNITLAL PARIKH, who we believe was a student of SHREE SAYAJI HIGH SCHOOL during 1966 (Age 15 years).

If you have information on this participant from your school, please contact us at pressind@sre.gob.mx

    Thank you!
